ANZAC Day is a heartfelt reminder of the sacrifices made for our way of life, and of the values that shaped and unite our communities. Every person who takes part helps to carry the ANZAC legacy forward – hand to hand, heart to heart. In searching for words to capture the ANZAC spirit, I came across a speech given by our own Sir William Young in 2018. It is well worth reflection.
People born in years of the Tiger are vigorous and ambitious, daring and courageous, enthusiastic and generous, self-confident with a sense of justice and a commitment to help others for the greater good. So if you were born in these years, congratulations!
