Lifetime is delighted to continue to partner with and sponsor JANZ. It is a privilege to be of service and work alongside you again this year.
We would like to take this opportunity to end the year with a couple of reminders, as well as two areas that may be of interest, and lastly to wish you all the best for the festive season.
Reminder one: AIA’s MyCare and the new benefits
A benefit to mention and a reminder is AIA MyCare via Teladoc Health (which used to be called Best Doctors) and their new Wellbeing component that has been added to the Judiciary Insurance Scheme at no cost to the members. The components are:
Medical – Ask a GP / Expert Medical Opinion
Mental Health – Ask a Mental Health Clinician / Mental Health Navigator
Wellbeing – Nutrition Consultation / Fitness & Recovery Consult
These added benefits are available to the Judiciary Insurance Scheme members, their partner, children, and parents (including in-laws).

Reminder two: AMP’s NZRT
If you have invested in Mercer or Super Life you would of received notification from AMP about their decision to simplify their fund options by removing Mercer and SuperLife.
What does this mean to you?
You have the choice to accept AMP’s fund switch, or you can build your own strategy using a different mix of the three available fund managers. This change presents an opportunity to review your investment strategy and make sure it still aligns with your financial goals.
At Lifetime, we are committed to helping you navigate these changes and make informed decisions. If you do not currently have a Financial Adviser, we are here to help. Please feel free to reach out using the details below, and we will connect you with a Judiciary Lifetime Financial Adviser who is very familiar with the Judicial schemes.
Of interest:
Claims
The Judiciary Insurance Scheme’s benefits are used when needed the most – when it is time for a claim. Although we desire for none of the Judiciary to be in a claim situation, we know that real life can take some brutal turns. Since inception from 2011, the claims that AIA has paid out to the Judiciary Insurance Scheme members are:
1 spouse death claim
7 member death claims
1 TPD claim
7 critical illness claims
2 income protection claims, and
3 terminal illness claims
Dreams Days
Dream Days is a charitable initiative of Lifetime. The idea is to connect everyday Kiwis, families, businesses, sports clubs or even schools to organise one day to provide a meaningful experience to a candidate family who has a child affected by a health condition or disability.
Our candidate families are without a doubt deserving of a fun day out as a much-needed distraction from the challenges they face having a child with a health condition or disability. It could be as simple as organising a day at the beach with a BBQ, borrowing a jet ski, taking a family fishing, picking them up in a fancy car and taking them for a picnic or something based on contacts or connections people have.
