Dear European Judges Association,
On behalf of the ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ROLI), I am conveying our thanks for your support for judicial independence in the United States. ROLI was honored to receive the IAJ Judicial Independence Award last year at the conference in South Africa. As you may be aware, many of our global programs were suspended in early 2025 as a consequence of the President’s Executive Order with respect to foreign aid. However, please know that to the extent possible, ROLI is continuing its programs concerning rule of law, judicial independence, and democracy. Your support is much appreciated.
